London, 16 December 2024 – Pam Wilson, President of the Federation of Master Builders Scotland, recently attended a distinguished reception at the House of Lords in London. The event brought together builders and construction professionals from across the United Kingdom to network and discuss industry-related matters.
Ms. Wilson, managing director of Kevin Wilson Master Builders (KWMB), an award winning multi-trades building company based in Stirling, was joined by Chris Carr, National President of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) UK. Mr. Carr is Managing Director of Carr & Carr (Builders) Ltd., a fourth-generation family housing developing company based in North East Lincolnshire. He is passionate about the construction industry and is committed to building high-quality homes.
Also in attendance were Presidents from all UK regions and Brian Berry, Chief Executive of the FMB. Mr. Berry has been the Chief Executive of the FMB since 2014 and is a highly respected figure in the construction industry.
As the leading voice for small and medium-sized (SME) building companies in Scotland, Ms. Wilson’s presence at this high-profile gathering underscored the importance of the construction sector in the UK. The reception provided an excellent platform for industry leaders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and address the challenges and opportunities facing the construction industry.
